Cyber SuRakshit : The school organized a cyber-security workshop for students of class VIII on 10 April, 2019. It was facilitated by Rakshit Tandon, Director Executive, Council of Information Security and Cyber Security and a member of Advisory Board of Cyber Crimes and Cyber Bullying. The key objective of the workshop was to sensitise students about some important issues like fake profiles on social networking, defamatory posts, bullying on the internet, hacking, and various issues faced by students while using internet. Pressing issues like virtual crime, non-compliance of cyber laws, and addiction to violent games like PubG were highlighted and their harmful effects on the health and behavioral changes were discussed. In addition to that different ways to safe guard students from the hackers were showcased. Five main values for using digital resources and social networking sites were discussed at great length. Resilience and integrity to debar the fake news and be vigilant about leaving digital footprints while accessing the internet was part of the deliberation.

"Bullying is not a reflection of the victim’s character, but rather a sign of the bully’s lack of character".
